What You Need

* 1 1/3 cup sugar
* 2 cups flour
* 2/3 teaspoons salt
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* ½ teaspoon baking soda
* 1 package jello lime gelatin 3 ounce
* 5 eggs
* 1 1/3 cup vegetable oil
* ¾ cup orange juice
* ½ teaspoon vanilla
* 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
* 1/3 cup lime juice
* 1/3 cup powdered sugar
* 1 container whipped topping

How to Make It

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by lightly applying cooking spray.

Using a large mixing bowl add the sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and lime jello and mix thoroughly until well combined.

Next, you will add the eggs, oil, orange juice, vanilla and lemon flavorings and mix well to combine.

Pour this batter into the prepared 9x13 inch baking pan and spread evenly. Place in the oven to bake for about 30 minutes. After baking remove from hot oven and allow it to cool for about 15 minutes.

While waiting for the cake to cool, you can prepare the glaze by mixing the lime juice and powdered sugar together until it is smooth. After allowing the cake to stand for 15 minutes, poke some small holes in the top of the key lime cake and then drizzle the glaze over the top.

Before serving, cut into wedges and dollop with some whipped topping.
